Firstly, become familiar with the four modes of the game. There is the Campaign mode, where you have several stages with enemies that become increasingly difficult to fight as you proceed, you have the survival mode, where there is an endless barrage of enemies to fight off, or the basic 1P and 2P modes of fights, where you take on one stickman after another.
One player uses the W, A, S, D keys to control their stickman, while the second player will use the arrow keys for the same thing. Either pick the random weapon mode, or pick your weapons, having options such as axe, boomerang, boxing gloves, shield, daggers, double axe, a grenade, a guitar, hammer, harpoon, hockey, a katana, or even the infinity gauntlet and many more. You can also pick your color.
