When you see the floating arrow symbols match on the top right side of the screen, press the identical arrow keys to hit your notes. Do it like this, according to the charts, until the song ends, and you will win.

If you miss your notes too many times in a row, and the health bar depletes you lose. Don't press keys too early, too late, press the wrong keys, or not hit them at all. That is how you lose your life bar, and eventually the game.
