As with previous iterations, the game at its core is a street fighting game. In its multiple modes, you take characters from popular media and fight against zombies. Defeat them to survive, earn coins from beating them up, and unlock the surprise characters.
Walk the streets to beat up the zombies you find, coming from all directions. Pick up more health, and fill up your energy bar. If it's full, make special attacks on them. Defeat the bosses when they appear, which are harder to fight, but give you more rewards.

Playing zombie games in 2 players raises your chances of survival. From the same computer, assume the role of two characters, and, at once, start the adventure! Fight together to defeat the monsters. Use these controls:
- Movement: WASD and the ARROWS
- Jumping: K and 2
- Attacking: J and 1
- Hot Attacks: U and 4
- Unique Skills: I and 5
- Expand Skills: O & L ; 6 & 3
- Life Skill: O + L ; 6 + 3
Exciting modes for different players!
- Play Eschatology Mode for the story. The fighting is intercut with cutscenes and dialogues.
- Try the Challenge Mode! It's made up of levels, one harder than the last, where you complete one target after another to pass.
- Unlock the Battle Mode! It features one-on-one battles between the characters, without the zombies.
- The Survival Mode is not for the faint of heart! Zombies keep appearing, and you need to continue fighting them for as long as possible!
- Discover the Soldier Mode! When you unlock this one, you get guns instead of powers, and use them to shoot up the dead monsters!
