Radical Red Version is a new version of the classic Pokemon Red Game, a ROM-HACK with incredible new additions that make the experience better!

How to play Radical Red Version

• Use the ARROWS for movements.
• Use Z and X for A and B.
• Use Enter to Start.
• Press Space to Select.

Choose the name of your character, the name of your rival, and let Professor Oak give you a starting Pokemon from three options:

1. Treecko (Grass)
2. Mudkip (Water)
3. Torchic (Fire)

Then, set out into the region, where you have to catch wild Pokemon, defeat enemy trainers, and defeat all the Gym Leaders to earn all the badges!

Turn-based monster fights

When battling wild Pokemon or rival trainers, you go in turns choosing the attacks, defensive moves, or emergency tactics you want to use.

• use attacks to deal damage;
• use potions to replenish health;
• enter the bag menu and change Pokemon if you think another type would give you an advantage;

Evolve!

The more you fight, and the more you win, the more XP points you gain for your Pokemon.

• increased experience points make your attacks stronger;
• from experience points you learn new power moves to use;
• when you grow enough levels you can evolve your Pokemon in a new version of it;

Catch them all!

The best Pokemon trainers have a diverse range of pocket monsters in their inventory so that they can handle any challenge!

• when you fight a wild Pokemon, weaken them close to defeat, and then throw a Pokeball at them to catch them;

Try catching all of the Pokemon in the region to complete the Pokedex and help Professor Oak with his research.

Defeat the villains!

Team Rocket is working in the shadows to take over the world of Pokemon. You will encounter them at points in the story, so make sure you defeat them!

• gym leaders are not villains, but they are important checkpoints to clear in order to become the top trainer in the region; defeat them all as well!
