438 Mad Arrow is a war, strategy, and tower defense game set during the times of Ancient Rome, all in one resulting in one of the best action games of the day!
Shoot the Mad Arrow to protect your gold!
You are in charge of protecting the Roman coffers of gold from the Barbarian attackers who are coming in waves to steal it away from you.
- each new wave that you face will have more attackers, and stronger ones, so keep upgrading your own forces;
- there are a total of 13 levels to pass, each one more difficult than the last one;
To achieve success in a level you need to stop the entire wave of enemies from reaching your treasures at the end of the road and stealing it.
Place defensive units, swordsmen and archers, along the way to stop the attacks! If your gold gets stolen, you lose and have to start again from scratch.
Use a diverse range of soldiers!
You will be able to place units costing from 30 pieces of gold up to 200. The more expensive a unit is, the stronger it is. In this case, you can try two strategies:
- buying fewer units that are more expensive;
- buying a bigger number of units that are cheaper;
Archers and swordsmen are the two types of soldiers you control, but they have different skills and power levels.
Placement is important!
Don't only focus on the number of soldiers you have, but also on how you place them along the map. Put them in strategic points to deal with the enemies in a clean and easy way!
