How to play Minecaves
- Use the cursor or the ARROWS to move Steve through the Minecaves.
In each level, the cave is structured like a maze, and when you jump in a direction, you go towards it until you hit into a wall, block, or obstacle.
Move through the tunnels so that you collect all of the gems inside a level, and then get back to the door at the top to advance to the next stage.
In addition to the gems, if you want to achieve a great performance, collect all the three stars hidden in a level.
- They are not required to complete it, but show that you're doing great if you catch them!
Beware of the dangers in the Minecaves!
As you advance, be careful of items, environments, or creatures that can hurt you. They can be:
- monsters and ghosts;
- the water;
- spikes;
- blocks that appear behind you after crossing an intersection;
If you lose 3 out of 3 lives, you lose the level and have to restart it from scratch.
Grab the tools, miner!
There are ways to get past obstacles and traps. For example:
- use the switches to lower the water into the deep caves;
- use the pick or the axe to plow through crates and rocks that stand in your way;
- keys to open the locked doors;
- oxygen tanks to swim underwater;
- and more...
